Principal Message

Riverdale School is dedicated to student success. Riverdale is a kindergarten to grade six school with approximately 115 students.  The school serves the Riverdale community and is also a school of choice for students who live outside of the community boundaries.   The staff of Riverdale School embrace the premise that the very purpose of our school is to help all students feel successful. Riverdale is a vibrant community school and we are fortunate to have high levels of community and parental engagement.

At Riverdale School, we believe that educating our students is a collective responsibility, shared by students and their families, school staff and the entire community. Through a collaborative approach in working together with you as partners, we will maximize the potential of all students. We are committed to providing a positive learning environment that will foster and support high academic and behavioural expectations, capitalizing on the value of strong relationships.

As a school, we use SchoolZone as our primary mode of communication and we encourage our parents to check SchoolZone daily to receive timely information.

If you have children here, we are so thankful you have chosen Riverdale School.  We look forward to working with them each day. If you don't have children here, Riverdale School is a welcoming environment where we all work together to ensure that all of our students learn at high levels as responsible, productive and engaged citizens within the global community.

Yours in Partnership,
Joleen Kitt
